Downsizing a home, maximising a view

With a section looking out towards the Port Hills, it was clear from the get-go that we had a beautiful vista to showcase.

We started by working with Jason and Jennifer to come up with 'the perfect design'; one that encapsulates the sunny views and includes the ability to dine, entertain and relax outdoors.

Having swapped the Alps for the Port Hills, we also had to find a way to recreate what they loved about their previous home in the new build. The answer? A splashback behind their kitchen bench that gives them the best of both worlds - the mountains and the hills.

This home is full of personality now. Even more so with the selection of Hebel, lines and schist cladding which make this property delightful to look at.

Jason and Jennifer were an absolute pleasure to work with, and we really appreciated the opportunity to help them connect aspects of their previous house with their new home. It was a big reason they chose to work with us and we're thrilled with the project's success.
